This book is the second in the series and it will not dissapoint Sophie Kinsealla who is a great author has hit the jackpot with this series as once you start reading you cannot put the books down until you have read them all. This book is fabulous Becky has a job on morning TV, her bank manager is being nice to her, and the icing on the cake is that she has been offered work in New York with Becky in New York with her credit card you know something bad is going to happen and the anticipation is unbearable. I couldn't put it down and didn't want to! The introduction of new characters is timed perfectly and the last few chapters are truely heart wrenching, as ... Read the complete review

Shopaholic Abroad (sometimes called Shopaholic takes Manhattan) is the second book in the hugely popular Shopaholic series, following the life of shopping addict Becky Bloomwood. Can it live up to its predecessor? SYNOPSIS Rebecca Bloomwood is back! After loving the film, I have spent a great amount of time searching on sites to get the rest of the Shopaholic books. After realising that neither play.com nor amazon were going to reduce their prices down from a fiver for each book. So I decided to go on the dreaded EBay, finally after a lot of bidding I managed to get 6 books for a very good price and have started reading them. ======= The Plot ======= This is the second book in the series, and Becky now has a fantastic boyfriend called Luke and has a brilliant job on a fantastic television show. She helps members with their finances, however should she really be giving out advice when ... Read the complete review

Becky Bloomwood has never had it so good- her stint on This Morning rip-off T.V show, Morning Coffee, as a financial consultant is going well; all her bills have been paid off and her relationship with Luke Brandon has never been so strong! Except, Luke is planning to branch out to America and hasn't told her yet and maybe a couple of her credit bills have begun getting a little high again and maybe her overdraft does need extending a little but there were these shoes and this dress and then she saw these boots and they were on sale and......well you get the picture! Yes, Becky is back where she belongs up to her eyeballs in debt. And old enemy Alicia, who ... Read the complete review

Some of you may have already read my review on another of the books in this series. For those who have not I am a big fan of the Shopaholic Series and Sophie Kinsella books in general. The shopaholic series comes under the chick lit category as it is not deep and meaningful but rather a book to keep you entertained. The books are about a girl called Becky who as you can guess from the title is a shopaholic. Shopaholic abroad is the second in the series following from The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic. The first book had seen Becky, a financial advisor, try and make money in various ways in order to try and help her shopping habit. She is getting bill after ... Read the complete review
