I was excited to get this latest book from Simon kernick and it did not disappoint. This book revolves around a hostage situation in a central london hotel and like all Kernicks books grips you from the first page. There are lots of twists and turns and while there's a lot of characters in this book they are all believable and you really do care about what happens to them. This was a little different to his other book as there was no one central character that he book revolved around but I liked this departure to his usual style and found myself really liking a couple of characters in particular who I hope he incorporates into future books. Kernick has a habit of his characters popping up in several books so I hope that will be the case here. Siege had a Great ending as well but I'd advise setting aside a day or two to read this as once you start it's hard to put down.
