This book includes all new more characters, episodes and secret jokes you might have missed in episodes.
The book is full of details of couch gags, chalkboards, guest stars, lots of simpsons musical moments, Troy McClure tribute.

Has exclusive season 10 news of upcoming episodes.

A typical page in the book shows an episode title, details of what happened and the story line, followed by comments from characters, things you may have missed and the chalkboard gag. On the side of every page is details of a (new) character featured in the programme, eg. who they are, what they do, and how they behave etc showing their quote in a speech bubble.
Each page has great pictures from the episode in context and makes this more of a magazine than a book, a story book has a beginning middle and end, this just has episodes on every page and details as well as the items mentioned above like Musical moments in the simpsons.- An example is ' do the bartman' this page has pictures of bart dancing the bartman all around the page and the lyrics of the song/script of the programme where bartman is featured in the middle.

Overall if you are a simpsons fan you will love this book, skimming through the pages at the different episodes is great. I find its better if you have actually seen those episodes yet to read about them etc. Than if you have already seen them.

I personally enjoyed reading this book in a lengthy car journey (1 hour) after checking the book out once i don't think I'd read it again, though true simpsons fans probably would - This book helped me try and find which simpsons episodes i really wanted to watch and that looked/sounded interesting. As Simpsons is a cartoon the pictures in the book is the best thing about the book along with quotes.
