What a novel! Its one of those books that you just dont want to put down and I enjoyed every minute. This book has heartache,romance and even laughter. I am an avid Danielle Steel fan and I love all her books. While this book is extraordinary, it just does not, in my opinion, exceeds expectations judging from the numerous masterpiece penned by this woman. It is a nice, domestic drama about a happy little family. The drama occurs when the woman loses her husband and is left to fend for her children all alone. If I were to read this novel alone, I would say that it is a fantastic novel with genuine warmth and emotion. But I always like to compare novels by the same writer, so I would say that this one, in comparison to other Steel novels, seem a little flat and dull at times. The plot can sometimes have too many twists ...
