When I looked him up online I found he is an English historian with a special interest in the Tudors and apparently he feels too much attention has been given to Henry's wives despite writing this book so whether he really said that who knows? The book is set out with the wives having sections of their own. In each section he tries to detail as much of their upbringing as possible but with most of them there are gaps we know no...more
