Slim Secrets: Nothing secret about it!! I am not fat but as maintaining a healthy BMI (Body Mass Index) is in everybody's top of chart I picked up this book from high street couple of months before. I heard a lot about Anita Bean the noted writer of this guide book as a pioneering writer on nutrition and weight loss books. So I was really expecting plethora of tips and exercises from this book. The book opens with a rather sordid chapter around changing your attitude to food and learn how to think slim. I never before owned or read a diet book and I'm still not entirely sure how 'Slim Secrets' ended up in my bookshelf. When I saw it in the library I borrowed it without giving it too much thought. The basic promise of the book (as printed on the cover): How to eat as much as you like - and still losing weight.
