The second verse features the numbers emphasised in capital lettering, & encourages children to count something within the picture.
For example, the first 2 pages feature a frog on a lily pad. His moth pops open to reveal a long tongue with ONE fly on it. The first verse goes:
Little frog is ready
To eat his dinner quick.
Make his tongue
Go up and down -
