Advantages: very open, great writing style, reads will identify with him

Disadvantages: can be a little too open in places

If you like autobiographies that are free and frank then this is the one for you.

Graham writes as if he is talking to old friends, telling the stories and annecdotes of his life with great enthusiasm, never leaving out any details - even if they are slightly shocking in places.

I think a lot of people will be surprised to learn that Graham did not find fame until he was in his 30s and in fact had many experiences that make him the humourous man he is today.

Graham's life has been touched by great sadness, with the loss of his father as a result of a long struggle with Parkinson's. His open-style of writing, envelopes the reader into feeling the emotions he must have been feeling at the time.

Fans of Graham's TV work will find this book to be a great read, and a wonderful insight into the life of the comedian. They will laugh and cry, then laugh some more as they read this book.

Summary: a great read for fans of his work
