This is a book that my friend had given to me in order to help motivate me to start getting fit and I must say it certainly did the trick,the author Steve Richards has written and put this together from notes written by the famous prisoner Charlie Bronson, although Charlie has written lots of books about his experiences whilst in prison this is not one of them as this is strictly a fitness and health guide. If you want to lose weight or just get healthy and fit then this is the book for you,Charlie has spent thirty years up to the point of writing this book in prison using fitness,health and training as a coping mechanism and a way of keeping himself strong,fit and occupied,so his 30 years experience makes him more qualified than most to talk on this subject. And his records are there to prove it as this book has a number of certificates showing his feats of fitness and strength proving this man is a fitness record breaker with super human strength. The start of this book is for some of Charlie's friends who have taken Charlie's advice about getting fit and each and every person tells how this Solitary Fitness book has helped them greatly to achieve which ever goals they are aiming for,some of these people may already be training like the man who does karate but has used Charlie's advice to become a stronger and faster individual helping him to become much better in his particular field. Or the man in a wheel chair who has used Charlie's strength advice to help him complete marathons helping to enrich his life and gain self esteem,this part of the book is motivational helping to make you more positive about your fitness journey ahead. This book is basically a step by step guide with instructions and diagrams showing from start to finish how to change your life and become a healthier and fitter person,Charlie exposes the truth about the health industry explaining that there is only one way to get fit and that is through motivation,energy and hard work. He also gives you a list of all vitamins and minerals and which foods you must eat in order to get them as well as giving you a step by step guide on meditation and clearing your mind as a way of getting the most out of your training. This book is very easy to understand with simple instructions a no nonsense guide to the world of fitness,it has funny pictures throughout drawn by Charlie which makes the book more interesting and entertaining,this book is not just one you read and put away you keep it out and use it as a guide for changing your life. Solitary Fitness has worked for me and many others Charlie has nothing to gain and only wants to help you change your life,you need buy nothing new to take part you only need the book some quite space and plenty of motivation I strongly recommend this book to people who wish to change there health and fitness.
