The 'Songs and Rhymes from In The Night Garden' book was brought for my daughter as one of her (too) many christmas presents last year. The book is quite big and is about half an inch thick. It is hardback which means it can take a good battering! We have a few scratches on our copy but they are not very noticable. The book can easily ... Read the complete review

Anybody out there who is a parent to a young child will have heard of the programme In the night garden, which is shown on the CBeebies channel!! I first started watching this programme when my god daughter was about 8 months old, whenever she used to stay at our house she insisted on watching this programme!! At first I thought it was an ... This is a beautiful book and well worth the £9.99 we paid for it from Mothercare (although my husband would disagree as he thought it was too expensive - he's not into books and hates spending money on them!) But with my begging and pleading we left the shop in possession of this book. It's quite a big book, bigger than most other ... Read the complete review

My little 2 year old absolutely loved watching In The Night Gaden before bedtime every night. She would literally be transfixed for a whole 25 minutes. At Christmas I was walking through my local Waterstones when I came across this book. I knew my little girl would love it so I bought a copy. Come Christmas day she wouldn't put it down and even my ... Read the complete review

In The Night Garden is a rather surreal children's programme which is shown on cbeebees channel every night as part of the bedtime hour. It does tend to have a rather sophoric effect on my daughters with its gentle storyline and calming music - just right for getting them off to bed! As a parent though I find the stories all very ...
