In my review of Darren Shan and the Sons of Destiny I will not contain any spoilers of the book but I may write a few hints in and I will write about the first book in the series as it is necessary for you to understand as to what is happening. The Darren Shan series has spanned over 12 books and it must be stressed, Sons of destiny is a fitting finale to a quite marvellous saga. One question remained unanswered above all over the duration of the saga and this was who would prevail; Darren Shan and the Vampires or Steve and the Vampaneze. This question is finally answered in this final book. At the close of Book Eleven, Darren discovered Steves' son, Darius, is actually Darren's own Nephew as Steve had married Daren's sister some years ago.
