This book goes a long way in defining the uses, and explaining the more common spectosopic techniques, such as NMR, IR, UV, and Mass Spectra. There are even examples of spectra of various compounds, in order for you to have a go at identifying which compounds are present, which is very good practice indeed. A very good handbook for undergraduate study, but also useful for anyone ...  Read the complete review
