In place of a blurb, the back cover of Joe Matt's "Spent" has a little comic strip featuring two attractive young women in a bookshop scene. The women catch sight of the book on a promotional stand, and giggling and chattering to themselves, speculate on the contents. "Oh my god, Tiffany!" squeals one, "A book called "Spent!" It's probably about a shopaholic who can't stop spending every last dime on clothes!". The next panel has them flicking through the book, and their expressions change.
