Advantages: great reasuring story
Disadvantages: none
This is another brilliant spot book, i love all of them. This is a lift the flap book.
At the begining of this book spot is scared of going to school and is very shy when he first arrives at school but he soon settles down and begins to enjoy himself with his new friends clair the turtle, tom the aligator, heleh the hippo and steve the monkey.
They do show and tell, spell words with wooden blocks, spot spells his name with them, they also paint pictures.
Spot realises he has actually enjoyed his day at school and now thinks school is great.
I love this book, the picture of spoty taking his little bag to school looks so cute. This book is ideal for children who are just about to start school as it shows them that they are not the only person scared of going to school and how much fun it can be,
Both my daughters love this book and the pictures are great. It has lift up faps which are fun and is made of thin card so will last a while.
Summary: a brilliant book
