Spot is very excited because it is his first easter and the easter bunny has hidden lots of eggs for Spot to find. Spot and his friend from school, you remember Helen the hippo take two baskets and off they go hunting for the easter eggs. Although I realise that Easter has been and gone this year, it's well worth keeping this book in mind for the build up to Easter 2008! ~ Spot's First Easter ~ Spot and his friend, Helen the hippo go on an Easter egg hunt that Sally, Spot's Mum has said the Easter Bunny has hidden. They ask how many eggs have been hidden and the Easter Bunny, hiding behind a lift-the-flap bush says "Shh! Six". Instantly the reader knows more than Spot and Helen.
