Spot now appears sat on a bale of hay, which is textured with something similar to plastic raffia (if that makes sense..?) Spot is holding a carrot out the feed a horse, whose mane is textured to imitate horse hair. Baa! Hello woolly sheep. Spot is seen sat down next to a tuft of grass which is textured to imitate grass and he wants to play with the woolly sheep, which are, yes you guessed it, woolly! No spoile...more

Premium Review Spot's Touch and Feel Farm - Eric Hill: A Great Touchy Feely Book For Children (630 words)
by - written on 12/10/09 (Very useful, 25 readings)
Rating:

Spot's Touch and Feel Farm was published by Penguin Books in 2005 and it part of the huge series of 'Spot' books, following the adventures of Spot the Dog. The book was written by Eric Hill and illustrated by Frederick Warne. This book is said to be suitable for children aged 12 months plus. **First Appearances** The front cover of this book features the well known Spot the Dog with a little chick sat on his shoulder. The chick has yellow fluff on its body area made to mimic the feel of a fluffy chick. Spot appeared to be filling a bowl with food for the chick and the inside of the bowl is textured also. **A Read ...  Read the complete review

Easily read with good illustrations. Obvious story line- pop-up could easily get ripped by young hands.

Good characterisation, realistic Plot has narrow focus

Fun, nostalgic Nancy is too perfect, old-fashioned language

Great story, fab pictures, lovely colours, durable, part of a set It will be lost on those who don't watch 'In The Night Garden' and doesn't feature Makka Pakka

good and easy read. Difficult to figure out a title for my review.
