If you are of a certain age, i.e. over 30, I wonder if you can remember the controversy that was caused about 20 years ago when the National Theatre produced the play 'The Romans in Britain'. People were up in arms about it, even the sainted Mrs Whitehouse (I mean Mary, not Paul's wife!) The whole problem was that it depicted homosexuality, male nudity and all manner of similarly ghastly things on the theatrical stage.
