For anyone who needs to begin to understand statistics or sadistics as I call them look no further than this book. It makes simple statistics understandable and uses good examples to explain what it means. The way the book is written is also eminently readable and so you are not constantly looking for an excuse to put it down and do something else instead!! Obviously it does not cover the more advanced statistical tests... it is only a starter book but it does remove the mystery of statistics and will certainly help in the understanding of more 'academic' explanations!! The book also has questions for the reader to work ...
