Everyone, and I mean everyone wants to have some sort of status. They want to be higher up in the pecking order. even if they are the in the lowest stratum of society, they will want to have a position of regard over their peers - everyone, no matter how well balanced, and above it all they think they are, wants to be a higher rank than others.
