Advantages: great true life story

When it comes to autobiographies I have to read a book about someone that really appeals to me so that I can really sink my teeth into it and Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter has always been one of my favourites as I have watched him on telly over the years and grown up with him until he sadly passed away a few years ago.

Steve Irwin was a man better known as the Crocodile Hunter as his love, passion and care for the specie as he wrestled crocodile to move them to a safer environment, he was loved by all and was a man who spent a lot on time in helping conservation, whilst running Australia Zoo.

This books covers Steve and his wife Terri's story, from how they met and thought they would never be together because of the love of Steve's life which luckily for Terri turned out to be his dog Sui. The book then covers when they got married to their honeymoon and with the opening of Australia Zoo. The book cover the work they have done in conservation to the birth of their two children to the day Steve passed away and how the family will carry on with Steve's beliefs and dreams even though he is no longer here.

This book is a heartfelt tribute to the Crocodile Hunter with its easy reading whilst getting an understanding of how great his life and family were and that they would achieve whatever they set their minds too, even though fame was never on top of the agenda, his love for conservation and crocodiles soon made him a worldwide celebrity.

This is a book I loved every minute of reading and I could not put it down, reading about the life of a great man truly had me hooked to get to the end of the book.

Terri has done a great job in writing a book that captivates the audience and Steve would be proud of what she had written and would be proud of his family carrying on with Australia Zoo and helping out with conservation around the world.

Hopefully there will be more editions in the stories of Steve's life in years to come as only a few of Steve's Life stories were able to be squeezed into the book and I believe there are a lot more to be told.

Summary: crocodile hunter

Great review -Can't help but think that Irwen was always on borrowed time though from some of his antics... Shame he's gone though. Must admit I loved the South Park send up of Irwen (while he was sitll alive) too -lol!
