Its combination of beautiful, clear photographs and relevant concise facts makes it an effective learning tool. The publishers are Dorling Kindersley (DK) Ltd of London. DK Books have been producing well developed resources that are linked to National Curriculum Subjects for many years. I have owned their collection of Encyclopaedias for Children since my own children (21yrs old) were pre-school age.
