This program is great to watch on a family night in, it involves ballroom dancing, celebrities and very bad jokes! Hosted by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daily (wife of Radio One DJ and family fortunes presenter Vernon Kay) the programmes shows selected celebs in a head to head battle in dancing! Each celebrity is paired with a professional dancer and they have one week to learn a routine chosen by the judges and choreographed by the proffessional. It always amusing to see what outfits or 'costumes' the celebrities are made to wear - the women usually look stunning in glittery numbers however, the men look... interesting in lycra, transparent shirts or matadoor ... Strictly Come Dancing is one of my favourite programmes. For everyone who thinks celebrity reality TV is all Z-Listers with no talent playing up to the cameras, they haven't seen Come Dancing! The idea of this show is that celebrities learn a new dance each week - including new moves - then compete in this with professional partners of international distinction. Each week, one couple gets eliminated until the final, where the winner is decided from the last three couples. The couples that poll the least number of votes from the public and from the judge's risk the chance of being voted off by their fellow peers. The show is on television twice on Saturday ...
