Stupid Cupid came free with a Woman's magazine. It wouldn't have been a book I would have bought or borrowed- but as they were giving it away, I took advantage of reading Arabella Weir's fictional work for the first time. The central character of the tale is Harriet, Hat as we come to know her, is a 33 year old gardener who was about to get married in six weeks to her fiancée Jimmy. I got given a huge carrier bag full of books from my dad months ago and have been very slowly making my way through them. The latest one is Stupid Cupid by Arabella Weir.
