Micheal Moore, what can I say about him, never seen his film Bowling for Columbine or seen his TV programme TV Nation and scourge of the US establishment but when I received his book Stupid white men for Christmas I thought yeah I give a read. If I would have known that Mr Moore was very very left-wing I would have never bought the book for myself but as it was for a Christmas present I started to read it and then I discovered he was left wing, but I started reading it so I carried on.
I’m glad I carried on reading it because he is actually very funny and just because I’m a bit to the right of the political spectrum, I found some of the view quite interesting about his opinion on Bush jr presidential victory described as a coup and how Al Gore was robbed. But he kept mentioning this all the way through the book which I found quite annoying. He also goes on and doesn’t say one nice word about Bush’s cabinet and how it’s just full of daddy’s friends. He hates the way that Bush was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and how just because of his name he has had an easy life, which is fair enough because it does annoy me as well, but I quite like bush (a hell of a lot moor that Gore). This book is full of humorous gags about past presidents and politicians but it does go on the left side too much for my liking but if you are a left-wing and hat cooperate America you will like this book.
I think my mate bought it for me because I’m always going on with some of my right wing views.
