Clouds Above the Hill Vol 1 - Shiba Ryotaro
A non-fiction book so well written it reads like fiction
As a Japanese import, it's prohibitively expensive
Clouds Above the Hill Vol 2 - Shiba Ryotaro
The detail of a textbook with the pacing of a thriller
Maybe lacking a little of the human aspect from Volume 1

Masterton's horror writing past makes this wonderfully dark in places
Does fall into a couple of the genre cliches
Bedlam - Christopher Brookmyre
Decent sense of humour in many places
Brookmyre occasionally take his eye off the ball and gets on his high horse instead

Historical fiction based on known facts about Elizabethan life and theatre.
None for me.
