My eldest daughter is almost six and is in Year 1 at school. Ever since Christmas I feel that her reading has really taken off so my challenge recently has been to search for some really entertaining and motivating books that she is able to read independently. This is not a particularly easy task (although I am sure that there are many books that fit my criteria) so I was very pleased when browsing through The Book People website that I spotted a set of ten 'Chameleon' readers for only £10. These are described as 'brilliant fun stories for children who have just begun reading' - ideal for Rachel.
