I must say that I bought this book over the other books on juicing purely because of its appearance. It is funky and colorful and looks great on my kitchen bookshelf. I have been a believer in fresh fruit and vegetable juice for many years now and make my own with a juice extractor. Fresh juice has been popular in North America for many years and when I moved to the UK from Canada I was surprised at the lack of Juice Bars (now popping up everwhere).

Fruit and vegetable juices are a delicious and increasingly popular part of our diet, yet few people realize that most of the nutritional benefits of the juice are lost with the processing of manufactured juices. Super Juice contains juice recipes in categories such as: protective juices, cleansing juices, power juices and even aphrodisiac and booze juices. There are three tables that you can use to cross-reference by vitamins, fruit or vegetable or by ailment. There is also a suggested detox program in the back. Very informative and fun to read!
