Enemies Among Us perfectly demonstrates the danger of cross-over titles. No matter how carefully the author tries, one of the characters tends to be given greater prominence. If you're a fan of that character: great; if not, you feel short-changed. Up until now, the Superman/Batman series has actually managed that balancing act pretty well, with roughly equal prominence given to each hero. Enemies Among Us changes that. For all intents and purposes, this is a Batman story in which Superman features, not a "team-up" tale. Depending on where your loyalties lie, this may colour your judgement of the comic.
