Newest Review: ... of this book will be worth it after all. The artwork is also pretty good throughout, even if they have to try and make the ... more  ... characters look like the actors. The opening two pages are especially good, they have been designed to look like a golden age comic and were used for the back story; this gave me hope that they put effort into making this book, when other movie adaptions have been terrible.
Unfortunately this isn't the case, because as the story progresses it sometimes takes a leap once or twice forward which is at the least disorientating for the reader. Their reasoning must be that the reader has seen the film so they can skip...more |

I reviewed the prequels for the film earlier and they managed to get a high rating out of me, although I am sorry to say that this book pales in comparison. The contents of this book are the 70 page movie adaption along with 5 other completely unrelated Superman stories. I will mention the 5 other stories later on briefly but will concentrate on the movie adaption of the most part of the review. Lets start with the good stuff, the story line is superb as it is the same one from the film with a few little extras.
