Advantages: It does make you want to finish the book
Disadvantages: Has events that have little relevance to the book.
I'm suprised I survived!! Like most thick books patience as well as dedication is needed to finis. Suspense is the technique used to grab the attention of the readers. Unfortunatly this booked lacked it and I found myself desperatly tryign to finish it in order to 'survive', it just dragged on from one death to another without giving a satisfying end to the story. If anyone manages to survive this book, and for me it was no easy task then you deserve a pat on the back. The story starts with a crash where you dive right into the excitment and mystery waiting to be discovered. But as you read on and on you realise that the inevitable and so predictable consequences happen to victims of the story. Ok, so people died but I was left wondering what has their death got to do with the main character and storyline. There was no link. You would have at least some clues as to who the culprit was, but sadly the clues are disjointed and even the ending is in a world of it's own. Many things are not explained and I suppose I felt abit lost. But don't be discouraged completely as there are a few moments where you will feel scared and excited about the deaths, as there quite abit of blood and horrible deaths. Don't take my word for the book. See if you can survive.
