I used to be an avid reader, but over the last few years it has declined to scanning magazines.
Then I acquired a signed copy of Talking Heads ( another prize) and having enjoyed the T.V. series so much, I decided to read One of the stories to see if it matched up to the series.
I found the book even more compelling and could not put it down until I had read All the stories.
I love most of Alan Bennetts plays, so I am now even hooked on his books, probably as I can relate to a lot of the characters, and the plots.
It is just a great read, I love it.
Thanks Mr Bennett, I have started to appreciate books again.
