The Tangle Box is the fourth book in the Landover series by Terry Brooks. Although it's a story in itself, in order to fully understand the book I think you'd need to read at least the first in the series, Magical Kingdom for Sale: Sold! Synopsis ******** Things are going well for Ben in Landover, until Horris Kew returns to the land. Questor and Abernathy beg Ben to send Horris away or have him locked up. This is the fourth book in the ?Landover? series and involves a complicated plot of deceit and double cross which is not resolved until the last few chapters. The book contains all the characters we have come to love or loath. If you can read the other books in the series first, I would do so but there is sufficient back story that you can start straight in. Some new characters are introduced at the start of the book, Horris Kew, an unsuccessful conman and part time magician who was exiled from Landover before Ben took over the kingship.
