Each little caterpillar has a different reason for wandering off on its page, for example it's staying to munch some tasty leaves. The number of the caterpillars on the page is shown in a nice big numerical format in the corner of each page too which is helpful for little ones learning to recognise their numbers. Ten Wriggly Wiggly Caterpillars is one of the nicest children's books our grandson had when he was younger. He still likes it now but I think it's best suited to children aged one to three years old, as it's a good learning aid for helping them to learn to count to ten. Slightly older children will still enjoy this book every now and again, but they won't get the same educational benefit from it that very young children will. Ten wriggly wiggly caterpillars is a children's book written by Debbie Tarbett and first printed in 2004. This book is a hardback book but has thin card pages which make it more robust than the average book. I bought this book for my son from a car boot sale for the bargain price of 30p. This book has won a gold award in the practical preschool awards in 2004. The cover of the book is bright and colourful it has the shapes of ten caterpillars cut out and ten small 3D plastic caterpillars showing through that you can touch and feel. When I first read this book it reminded me of a more complex song called five little ...  Read the complete review

Ten Wriggly Wiggly Caterpillars..... This book was a hand me down from one of my friends children to Jack. When we first had the book given to us it was certainly one that Jack loved the most out of all his books as it was the one he would keep bringing to me to read to him. I have seen the book for sale since being given it in Tesco's for around £6 a price that I feel is pretty reasonable. The book is a hardback book and the pages inside are somewhere between paper and board. They are not so heavy duty as board pages but they are a lot tougher than the average paper pages. The little caterpillars that are on each page are made ...  Read the complete review
