THAT'S NOT MY BUNNY is another book in the Usborne "That's Not My..." Touchy Feely Books series. The Touchy-Feely books are designed to encourage children's language development and stimulate their senses by incorporating various fabrics and materials in the drawings. Every book follows a little white mouse in search of something that belongs to him. These books have been published for a number of years, and are very popular. It should be noted that with every new edition, the books tend to undergo some design alterations, with the colours often changing from one edition to the next. The edition I am reviewing is the ... That's not my Bunny by Fiona Watt is the latest addition to my son's ever growing book collection. It was bought for him as a gift just yesterday from his grandparents. Being a book about a bunny it was a rather fitting gift to receive in the run up to Easter. This is the second book in the That's not my... collection that my son now owns. Having received That's not my Puppy as a gift from us for his first birthday, we were aware that he is very fond of touch and feel books like this one. That's not my Bunny is a board book with thick pages which are ideal for babies and toddlers. Its shiny surface also means that it can be wiped clean if soiled ... Read the complete review

This is a lovely little hard board book which I picked up for my littlest man from the school book fair and I am so glad I did as he has not put it down for a whole week. The cover of the book is bright yellow and has a picture of a grey bunny with a white fury tail. The title is above this in blue writing. The back cover of the book is also bright yellow and has a short paragraph about the book. The story is about someone trying to find their bunny, each page has a different picture of a bunny with a different part cut out. For instance the first page has the paws cut out and they have been replaced with rough paper, the following page has the bunny's tale ... Read the complete review

This is a book I bought second hand for my son from our local charity shop with a few other Usborne books. My son already had the "That's not my Bear" Book in his little library and enjoyed reading and touching the pages so I was fairly certain I would be on to a winner with this one too. The book is part of large series by writer Fiona Watt and illustrator Rachel Wells for Usborne Publishing About the book and our experience ******************************** As with all the Usborne touchy feely books the story starts on the front cover to incite the children into the book and read it. The first page starts with ... Read the complete review
