That's Not My Mermaid - Fiona Watt

This is a fantastic board book for young children, it is one of a series of 'That's not my' books. The beauty of this book is not only do children want to touch the different textures on each page, but also as they get slightly older they can play 'spot the mouse' who is 'hidden' on each page. There is no 'story' as such but each page depicts a different mermaid and a reason why 'she's not my mermaid', with the final page revealing 'my mermaid'. The book is perfectly sized for small hands as they can manage to turn the pages by themself.
