That's Not My Monkey... is one of many books in the Usborne Touchy-Feely range, which also contains similar titles such as 'That's Not My Lion' and 'That's Not My Princess'. That's Not My Monkey is currently the only book from this range that we own, although we do have plans to add lots more to our bookshelf! We purchased the book from a local Garden Centre for a slightly cheaper price than the one printed on the back of the book (which is £5.99). We chose this title over others in the range, as we actually bought it when I was pregnant and we wanted a fun unisex touchy feely book for our baby, as we didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl. This book is part of a series from Usborne and they are written by Fiona Watt and illustrated by Rachel Wells. They cost £5.99 each and are well worth the money. They must be a huge success because everytime I go into Waterstone's there has been another one added to the collection. I absolutely love these books and both Noah and Elijah are very keen on them too. This particular story is about monkeys. Each page has a different monkey on and the book takes you on a little journey looking for the right one. Each time the text says 'Thats not my monkey it's.........' and you are given a reason as to why this particular monkey isn't the right one until you get to ... Read the complete review

My brother bought this book for my youngest daughter for her first Christmas as monkeys are quite popular in our house. My elder daughter has her cuddly monkey with her at all times and my youngest is also beginning to become quite attached to her smaller monkey. So therefore I think my brother bought this mainly to make me smile but upon opening the book I was very pleased with his choice of present. I had been aware of this series of Usborne books for quite a while and had even picked a few up and flicked through and been rather tempted to buy but resisted the urge due to the huge number of books my girls already have. Furthermore for a baby book I do ... Read the complete review

Anyone who has read my previous review on That's Not My Bunny will know just how much my youngest, 22 months, loves the book. When I was on a recent shopping trip I spotted this book which is also in the same collection so I just had to get it for him. The book is called That's Not My Monkey. It is a chunky board book which has very thick pages and the cover of the book is green with a picture of monkey at the bottom and the title is above this in white lettering. The back cover of the book is also green and has a short paragraph about this book. The book has 5 double pages which are all nice and bright. They all feature a picture of a different ... That's not my monkey is another book from the set of Usborne touchy feely books for children. I purchased this from Amazon and got it for £2.99, when I purchased three others, the price on the back of the book states £5.99 so they are more expensive when bought separately. The book itself is made from thick, hard cardboard and measures 17cm x 17cm. The pages are very thick cardboard so are ideal for little ones to turn over without bending or tearing them!! The books are touchy feely books and have different shapes and textures on each page so that you little one can get develop its sensory awareness. The cover of That's not my Monkey is green ...
