I have been getting very excited about this Christmas for quite a few months now. The main reason is that my daughter will be eighteen months old and will be really into everything. We wanted to introduce her to Santa Claus so bought her the Usborne touchy feely "That's not my Santa" book. I bought this because we thought if we read the book with her often then she would start to get an understanding of who Santa was and what he was going to do on Christmas Eve etc. As a result of this book she now looks at a picture of Santa and points and tries to say his name. Thats not my Santa It's that time of the year when we start to get out all of the Christmas books. **The Book...** This is one of a series from Usborne, focus on touch and different types of surfaces so it's very tactile. We have used some of the other books in the series in the classroom and the children enjoyed this sensory approach, so i knew that this would definitely appeal. The book itself is a smallish square book, nice and sturdy, and because it's a board book, there are no pages for little hands to tear, so the shelf life of the book is definitely increased.
