Just as you're beginning to get interested in one, the focus abruptly shifts to a different one, all of which gives the book a very disjointed feel. You could argue this reflects true police work - detectives are often working on a number of cases at a time. This may be true of real life, but it doesn't make for a particularly satisfying read. Easy to read Disappointing plot and pointless in places

Exciting adventure, easy read, outstanding writing from James Patterson. As a series fan, it doesn't quite hold up to my expectations; a longer more complex book would have.
