“The Almond Blossom Appreciation Society” is the third book by Chris Stewart, relating further tales of family life in the Alpajurras region of Andalusia. The first book, “Driving over Lemons” describes how Chris and his wife Ana came to buy a run down rural property in Spain and how they started to fix the place up. “A Parrot in the Pepper Tree” continued the story and introduced readers to some of their neighbours as well as showing the means by which the family made a living, growing olives, farming sheep and selling their crops of oranges.
