Following on from Volume 2: Revelations, Volume 3 of The Amazing Spider-Man, as written by J Michael Straczynski, sees a return to crime fighting for our webbed hero. Strac took Spidey back to the highs of the comic book superhero hierarchy when he started writing the scripts, following a few years of the wall-crawling webslinger becoming a bit of a boring read. These more recent volumes have seen a return to Spider-Man's roots in terms of villains and attitude, along with some shocking developments in his personal life.
