The Plot Kyle McAvoy is close to the end of his life as a law student, and about to start a new life as a qualified lawyer, just a few weeks of study and the bar exams stand in his way. That is until the FBI show up at a little league game where he's coaching, and 'escort' him to a nearby cafe for a chat. The agent informs him that they have evidence of a crime he committed during his early college years, baffled Kyle asks for evidence of this so called crime, and the agents agree to produce the evidence if he meets them at a motel later that night. Moments after arriving at the motel Kyle's world starts to unravel, as the FBI agents show him ... Read the complete review

The most recent work from the King of the legal novel. I will not go into the back ground of the author but it suffices to say that if you are a fan of crime thrillers/ legal thrillers/ any kind of thrillers you will love John Grisham's novels. The Associate begins with the introduction to the protagonist, Kyle, who is a high-flying law student, about to start his journey into the world of work. Things are however, never that easy in the world of the thriller novel and we are quickly introduced to the darker side of the novel and the world in which Kyle will be expected to work. *Introduction* I am ashamed to say that this is the first John Grisham book that I have read. Obviously I'd heard about him before but I just hadn't read anything by him. I have just finished reading all of the books by my favourite authors James Patterson, Martina Cole, Mandasue Heller and Mark Gimenez so I thought it was time to try John Grisham. I thought I would start with him most recent novel, The Associate. *About the Author* In 1981, John Grisham graduated from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law. He then went on to manage his own law firm for nine years. He began his writing career when he wrote A Time to Kill and gave ... Read the complete review

Great read for kids
A bit darker than previous books
Olivia's Luck - Catherine Alliot
You won't want it to end, great plot and characters
None
Animal Ark: Cub in the Cupboard - Lucy Daniels
The Pocket Dangerous Book for Boys: Things to Do - Conn Iggulden
Easy to dip in and out of. Well written. Good "little room" reading.
A little too big and heavy to be a true "pocket" sized book.
The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn - Robin Maxwell
I think this would be a good book for someone looking to learn a little about Anne Boleyn
No emotion within the diary entries, attempts to portray Anne Boleyn too kindly
Faces - Martina Cole
Well researched gritty, gripping novel.
Not quite as good as her previous novels
Phonics Readers: Fat Cat on a Mat - Phil Roxbee Cox
Good Story, Lift-the-Flap Pages, Cheap in the Set
Too Hard for an Early Reader
A Girl for All Seasons - Camilla Morton
Amazingly witty, interesting, lots to learn from the book.
Price.
Usborne Farmyard Tales: Runaway Tractor - Heather Amery
Two levels of reading, good story, ducks to spot
The overlapping story is sometimes a bit strange
The Bad Girls' Guide to Getting What You Want - Cameron Tuttle
You will have a quiet smirk as you contemplate putting these ideas into action.
It aint gonna win any literary awards
