The Best friends Guide To Pregnancy is such a funny book. It guides you through such pitfalls as what to wear to the office, medical problems (such nasties as piles...), morning sickness and what to expect from B day itself (the birth).
I read it constantly through my long and hard pregnancy and it really reassured me.
The author has 4 children and knows what she is talking about. she gives advice in a light hearted way but it is informative and just the sorts of things you need to know.
The author Vicki Iovine is from America so some things are different over there but little footnotes clear up any discrepancies ( I didn't have a clue what Lamaze was- Its a sort of birthing class for pregnant mums)
So all in all an essential for any pregnant mum to be.
My own tip? Go with the flow...Don't worry too much... and giving birth isn't painful...just uncomfortable.
