The Bloke's Guide to Getting Hitched - Jon Smith

Premium Review Give A Bloke Some Help! (348 words)
by danball - written on 11/03/09 (Very useful, 58 readings)
Rating:

I found Jon Smith s (and the various other sources he quotes) advice to be helpful and has made me consider things that I would have maybe ignored, overlooked, or just thought to inconsequential to have any impact. The whole book is written in a light hearted and humourous way and would appeal to most men (at least most men I know). I felt that there were some things that should have been elaborated on but this does not claim to be a cover-all, comprehensive guide to wedded bliss so it s difficult to complain too much. There is just one piece of advice that I would like to offer all men thinking of getting married that is not in the book: DON T DO IT! Just kidding. ...

Premium Review No nonsense guide to pregnancy (311 words)
by sharonmanc - written on 10/02/09 (Very useful, 40 readings)
Rating:

I bought this for my husband to read, as although this is my 3rd baby, it will be his first so it was all new to him, and at first not thinking, I mistakenly had this notion in my head that he would totally understand (as if through telepathy) what i was feeling , and what my body was going through, especially when the morning sickness kicked in . I just could not understand why after the innitial excitement of finding out we were pregnant, he seemed to close off and go into himself. This book helped alot (and still is helping) in a very funny, humourous and unique way, it helped him understand the who concept of pregnancy, and funnily enough i decied to take a sneek peek ...
