Before picking up this book I was not familiar with Ariel Leve's column in the paper, nor had I encountered her work before. I am a fairly upbeat person, the glass is half full (and not just a spill away from dissapointment, as suggested in these columns!), and I can always find a silver lining. Reading this book I found it utterly baffling how anyone could perpetuate such an outlook. If you are this depressed you need help, not your mundane ramblings put into print. Each column comes across as whiney and self-pitying. I read well over half the book before I decided that it really wasn't about to get any better and life was too short and enjoyable to read about why life ... Read the complete review
