This book is a lovely memoir of one family, written from the perspective of the mother, Marilyn Edwards and the cats in their life during this period. The book focuses on their two very different cats. Septi, who they have had for many years, a loyal and friendly cat. Septi has lived at Moon Cottage for many years on his own so his life (and the lives of the family) are disrupted when Otto, a new kitten is brought into their home. Otto is a beautiful tortoise shell cat who is feisty, inquisitive and out-going in nature.
