The Chronicles of Narnia are the books that everyone including me read at school. When the films starting coming out I decided to get my hands on the full set and read them in order. Although when I was a child I found these books to be brilliant and really enjoyed reading them, as an adult they are not as good. Each book is a story ...

I loved the chronicles of Narnia as a kid and recently gave them a reread as an adult, trying to get the horribly taste of the movie, "The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe" out of my mouth. But that is another story. Anyway, I found these books didn't really stand the test of time, although my favourite character in the chronicles has ...

I've owned the Chronicles of Narnia since I was a child and though I haven't read the series very often, I've always known that I enjoyed the books and I have remembered events and people even though, until recently, I hadn't read the series for a good ten years or more. I watched 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' when it was released on DVD ...

The Chronicles of Narnia are a classic series and as a classic series should be read. They are the original adventure books and many of the storylines from these books produce the ideas for the adventure books today including Harry Potter. Each book has its own story which means that each book can be read individually or as a set meaning the ...

I saw the animated version of the film as a kid and I loved it passionately. I was so excited when I found out the movie was being made a few years ago. I think the movie is great and trust me, you'll love it even more if you saw the animated version earlier.
The actors were great in the movie but I think the lady who played the role of the witch needed to have been more dramatic and evil as the character was in the animated version.

I loved these books when I was little. I had the Magician's Nephew read to me as a bed time story, then I went on to read the others myself. Some I liked better than others, but I enjoyed the whole series. I recently bought myself the whole series in one book, with an illustration of a lion on the front (the books I'd read when I was little left ...

With a heavy presence in the public consciousness and a new film on the way, C. S. Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia are proving as timeless as the Christian stories the author wished to elaborate on. There was an animated film, the BBC made four adaptations in the late eighties and it’s even referenced in ‘The Young Ones.’ Enjoyable for adults as well ...

After reading SANDEMP's excellent review of this book and coming across MAURI's book challenge on his profile page, I thought I'd enter my review of this into the challenge. If you want more information contact the Book category guides Mauri or Calypte. CS Lewis wrote more than just the Narnia series, of course. He wrote other ...

I've been steadily working my way through my favourite childhood reading material, and just realised that my thirteen year-old son has laid claim to my copies of the books that make up The Chronicles of Narnia, which is a set of books that was bought for me when I was about ten. I remember being taken to the strange and magical land of Narnia many ...
