I know you should never judge a book by its cover, but I'm afraid I did. This looks just like your ordinary girlie read. The cover is pastel yellow with the usual cartoon like illustration on it. Even the blurb on the back didn't give a lot away, so I didn't know how different this book would be. Surprisingly enough I really enjoyed it, I am a complete wimp when it comes to crime (I can't even watch 'The Bill' without nightmares!) So when a character was caught up in a kidnap by some not very nice people I almost had to put the book down.
