God knows. Thats one of the short story titles in this slim volume. The others are : The Clothes Horse, Life Savings, The Jack Pot, No-man's Land, and The Night Train. The titles alone should give you an idea of what these tales are about. But, did you know that a clothes horse was originally made by a magician, and now works on the stage, masquerading as two men dressed as a horse? Or that the train which delivers the night was held to ransom, forcing a King to issue a proclamation? Or that the problem of No-mans land was solved by a small girl on a swing?
