The Complete Guide to Pregnancy and Birth by Dr Miriam Stoppard, has become my "bible" for both of my pregnancies!

It is like having your own midwife on your bedside table!

The book has excellent coverage of all aspects of pregnancy and birth including planning for a succesful and healthy pregnancy.

I personally like to week by week guide to the 40 weeks and gives measurements of the fetus/baby and explains in detail what you can expect to be experiencing and feeling at each stage!

Many a time i have referred to this book and have found the exact answer i have been looking for e.g why was i getting headaches, when should my morning sickness subside and why do my feet and hands swell occasional and so on............

All in all an excellent all round guide and throughly recommended to all mums to be!
