Advantages: Nicely presented with a wide range of topics

Disadvantages: Some topics not covered in enough detail

I thought this book was nicely presented and with my first pregnancy, quite informative. It was interesting to see photographs of a real pregnancy (ie to compare bump size) and to learn about the development of the baby at each stage. There is plenty of advice on nutrition, health etc whilst pregnant and it even covers those first few weeks with your newborn.

The only real disadvantage is that some topics could have been more detailed.

I also bought the follow up book "Complete Baby and Child Care" which is written in much the same way. This book does overlap in terms of caring for a newborn but then takes you through your babies development.

Both books have been a great source of information.
